The Alpha Muddy takes the dirt so you won't have to. This little slip-on number for men is the perfect protector when you are up to camp, walking the dog, throwing out trash, or muckin' around in the garden. Made by LaCrosse and developed from its Alpha series, the Alpha Muddy (style #330020) is a waterproof, camouflage shoe that prizes comfort.
Built with hand laid, premium, natural rubber, the Alpha Muddy has an insulating layer under that 3.5mm thick waterproof neoprene. A waterproof liner acts similarly to Gore-Tex, so your know your feet will stay dry. You can feel it when you slide your foot in thanks to the secure fit collar. Pull-on tabs make the shoe easy to get on, and the protected heel bumper make it just as easy to kick off. Oh, and a mesh, wuick dry liner means the Alpha Muddy will dry out quickly should you take an accidental step into a deep ole puddle.
Inside LaCrosse's Alpha Muddy is a removable polyurethane footbed, which pretty much means it can be replaced at any time (we recommend three to twelve months depending on how often you are walking in it) and that PU material provide cushion and rebound for your sweet soles. The sole is just as durable underfoot as the upper is around the top of the foot. LaCrosse added its all terrain Aqua outsole to the Alpha Muddy specifically for slip resistance. You can see it in the photo of the sole that shows all the channels for liquids, etc to flow out of. Lastly, the Alpha Muddy is rated to from 0 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit, so you will find it comfortable most of the year, and even during short sprints in and out with that trash bag during the winter.
