Perhaps the most enduring style for Merrell, the Jungle Moc is a classic casual shoe that has been chugging along for over a decade. Merrell Work took the Jungle Moc and retrofitted it to endure light duty work a few years ago. The upgraded Jungle Moc LTR CT more durable, more comfortable. It is a standard slip-on shoe that somehow has all the secrets to staying on the foot, provide even footing on uneven surfaces, and has a universal wearability in a range of environments. We have seen people hike and camp in these, bring ‘em around the suburban block for a standard walk, hit the beach, and pack for vacations. The beauty of the Jungle Moc LTR CT slip-on shoe is it can function in a board room and in the trenches. The full grain leather attests to the durability of the material, and breathable mesh lining encases the foot. Despite the lightweight nature of the Jungle Moc LTR CT, the shoe has a ton of stability and flexibility. Merrell Work did not want to negate the lightness, so they factored in a featherweight non-metallic safety toe cap, which sheds ounces. Merrell added its air cushion to the heel to absorb shock and add stability, then threw in its proprietary COMFORT BASE contoured insole, midsole, and a molded nylon arch shank for midfoot support and flexibility. That makes it easier to crawl under a desk to pick up an errant pencil or bend over to check a job well done on a set of tires in the shop.

Last but not least is the oil and slip resistant rubber sole with the Jungle Moc’s recognizable “suction-cup” look. The black Merrell M Select GRIP sole extends its lip around the edges of the shoe to provide extra resistance to abrasions and scratches.The unusual tread pattern allows the shoe to have more surface area, which means it performs better on slick surfaces. The shoe grips where and when you need it. As a result, you will grip to these shoes whenever the work calls for safety toe footwear.
